Stories from Autumn Workshops in Lincoln

Children seated at desks in a classroom as lights illuminate the space in different colours.

The stories in this book were written by children attending Immersive Tales’ story writing workshops in autumn 2023. Immersive Tales’ mission is to support children’s developing imaginations and literacy skills through story writing.

Many people were involved in the making of this book. Firstly, the children from Carlton Road Academy, Boston, Lincolnshire and Monks Abbey Primary School, Lincoln, who worked really hard and with great enthusiasm. Also the brilliant teachers who walked them to Fydell House and Greyfriars and stayed throughout the workshops to support them.

The staff of the host buildings who welcomed the project into their space and supported the workshops all the way:

  • Jodie, Bronwen and Sue at Fydell House
  • Katy-Jayne Lintott, Katherine Briggs, Laura Dunham & Lily at Heritage Lincolnshire
  • Louise Wooley at Central Library Lincoln.
