The stories in this book were written by children attending Immersive Tales’ story writing workshops in Summer 2025. Immersive Tales’ mission is to support children’s developing imaginations and literacy skills through story writing.

Carlton Road Primary Academy is one of the schools we have worked with most closely. These stories were created by children from years 2 and 3. They created their stories by all contributing their ideas – for settings, heroes and sidekicks, the challenges they need to overcome and how they do so etc – and voting on them. All the pupils drew illustrations for the stories, some of which were used to illustrate the final book.
